Sophia Nadur is a board director and investment advisor specialising in the energy transition, e-mobility and climate technology sectors. She served for 6 years as a MD at bp Ventures, where she built and led a $200m+ portfolio of clean energy, AI and electric mobility companies across the UK, India, China and Australia. Before that, she spent 2 years co-creating bp's global e-mobility offer. She left bp in April 2026 to focus on building a select portfolio of NED and advisory roles.

Sophia held NED roles at multiple fast-scaling startups spanning EV ride-hailing, logistics, intercity mobility, AI-driven energy management and fleet electrification across India, China, the UK and Australia. She has served on Audit and Remuneration Committees and currently chairs the IC of the UAE's leading cleantech accelerator.

A prior Global Top 20 Influential Woman in Mobility and GCV Emerging Leader, Sophia brings over 20 years of international commercial and investment leadership across 6 Fortune 500 companies — bp, Mars, Coca-Cola, Kraft/Mondelēz, BAT and Unilever — spanning 20+ markets across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean. She holds a Board Director Certificate from Cambridge Judge Business School, a Corporate Governance Certificate from Columbia Business School, and an MBA from Warwick Business School. She is a qualified commercial lawyer and a volunteer judge.
