Based in Singapore, Peter has built a distinguished career spanning the energy, finance, and sustainability sectors, having held senior leadership roles across upstream and downstream operations, corporate strategy, and energy finance with BP and Standard Chartered Bank. A passionate advocate for cleaner, more resilient energy systems, he is particularly focused on industrial decarbonisation, carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS), and the development of integrated low-carbon industrial ecosystems. In late 2024, he founded CarbonSync Technologies, a Singapore-based company dedicated to the formation, facilitation, and consortium management of low-carbon industrial hub projects across Southeast Asia and other emerging markets. Peter recently stepped down from his position as Asia-Pacific Chief Representative of the UK-headquartered Energy Institute, where he played a key role in advancing professional development, capacity building, and cross-border collaboration throughout the region.
